Yes, on selected dates. SPaP – LOD runs a Bratislava–Devín cruise from the passenger port at Fajnorovo nábrežie 2; the trip upstream takes about 1 hour 30 minutes and the return about 30 minutes.

Its 2026 timetable runs from 2 April to 30 November. On its November operating days there is one return trip, leaving Bratislava at 9:00 and Devín at 12:30.

The operator reserves the right to change dates and programmes, and boarding closes 15 minutes before departure. Check the current timetable before you plan around the boat.

How do tickets for Devín Castle work?

There is a standard ticket, a reduced ticket for children aged 6 to 15, students and seniors aged 65 and over, and family tickets. Children under 6 enter free, and tickets can also be bought online.

The museum charges different fares in summer (April to October) and winter (November to March), and fares can change on event days. Check the current fares on the castle's admission page.

What can I see at Devín Castle?

The castle ruins and grounds, views over the river landscape, and exhibitions. On the check date these included "Attention, border! Devín in the Iron Curtain 1948–1989" and an exhibition on more than 110 years of archaeology at Devín.

Archaeological research at the castle began in 1913 and still continues, according to the museum. The castle also runs guided talks, walks and family events during the year.

What should I know before visiting Devín Castle?

Dogs and other pets are not allowed, except guide dogs. You may bring your own food and soft drinks, but alcohol is banned across the whole site.

There are bike racks at the entrance, by the ticket office, where you can lock a bike with your own lock. There is no storage for scooters or skates, so you would have to carry them around the site.
